Payment
All payments are made electronically. Payment information, informed consent, and a fee agreement must be in place before services can begin (including groups). You are ultimately responsible for any balance incurred by the services you receive. A $10 late fee may applied if payment is not received within three days of the service provided. Our administrative assistant, Jules, will check your insurance benefits for you to find out the details of your plan and confirm whether or not we are in-nework. You are ultimately responsible for knowing and understanding the specifics of your insurance coverage and plan. You may have a balance if you begin services without being fully informed about the details of your specific plan, the amount of your copay, and whether or not your deductible has been met. There are no fees for people with OHP as their primary insurance plan for mental healthcare.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled visit to avoid a late fee. Cancellations and missed visits incur your provider's full regular fee and are not billable to insurance. You can contact us through secure messaging in the client portal, email, text, or call to cancel. Fees are the same for in-person, video, and phone visits. If you are using insurance and miss a visit or cancel in under 24 hours, you are responsible to pay your therapist's/peer's full standard rate. There are no cancellation fees associated with groups. There are no cancellation or late fees for people with OHP as their primary insurance plan.
Insurance
The Pursuit of Wellness has contracts with OHP, Optum, United Healthcare, Regence, Aetna, and PacificSource! Please note: Each plan is different, and you may have a deductible to meet and/or a copay for services. If we are not in-network with your plan, we can request a single case agreement (an exception that allows you to pay only your copay) or bill out-of-network for partial coverage. Please let us know if you have more than one insurance provider and which is primary. You can also use your HSA/FSA or CareCredit to pay for services.
